I'm not performing this weekend. My wife is very happy. I just completed 7 straight weeks of performing. Part of the reason for such a long stretch of performing was that I was teaching level 1 improv.
I had a really great group this time around. For the first time, I had fans of the show in my group and they were really into learning. For example, I usually teach 5 things in two sessions, but they got so into it that we decided to spend a full session on 5 things.
In case, you're interested we are having auditions coming up in probably in September and October. I'm of the opinion that if you take level 1 and really learn and apply what you learn, you'll probably get taken in the audition. I get the impression that Level 2 improv is new player training. Just a thought.
Hope you had a chance to watch me perform. I have some videos up on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/palal67
I'll talk about these one day. I'll be performing next Saturday, September 1 and then I'm off again for vacation. If you want to see me perform and you're in San Diego, let me know and I'll get you some tickets.
